Our 6 and 8 lane tracks
Here is my son's first attempt at a 6 lane track.
It took a bit of thinking how to get power to the inside tracks, but he eventually figured it out, though I do not have a photo of it. You can see the solution in the 8 lane track below.
We finally went nuts one night and made up our own 8 lane track. This photos shows how the power problem was solved - split the track!
It is unbelievable how many pieces of track this layout took!
We needed to add in 4 more power tracks and power supplies to get power to each lane. But, we had to settle on what we had done because we were short both a power track and a supply. Maybe next time.
Now that Tomy has released 18" turns, we may try this again in a more expanded design and power to each lane.
